Slide show of putative Archean microfossils discovered from the Farrel Quartzite (>2.97 Ga) at the Mount Goldsworthy – Mount Grant area in the northeastern Pilbara Craton. Many of them are characterized by unusual shape, but are actually present in chert matrix in Archean age.
